A home away from home

When traveling in overseas it is always interesting to see how our Australian culture is translated in a different environment.

Public is an Australasian restaurant located in Nolita, NYC. Here New Yorkers can feast on Kangaroo, Tasmanian Pink Sea trout (flown in fresh daily), traditional Pavlova and more…
Industrial chic décor complete with Tolix stools and Dewey system drawers are as lust worthy as the food.

Every detail is impeccable from the clipboard menus to the wall of standard issue branded soaps in the bathroom.

The beginning...

“Focus on the journey, not the destination. Joy is found not in finishing an activity but in doing it.”

Well here goes… I hope you’ll join me for the ride!
